Welcome to the Eildon Singers

Eildon Singers is a friendly mixed-voice community choir based in Galashiels in the Scottish Borders.

We welcome everyone who loves to sing and to share the joy of music.

We draw members from throughout the central Borders area.

Rehearsals begin on Wednesday 27th August 2025 in the Lucy Sanderson Hall, Tweed Terrace, Galashiels TD1 3EG (Please note the change of rehearsal venue!)

How often do you rehearse?

We have weekly rehearsals every Wednesday evening from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. in the Lucy Sanderson Hall, Tweed Terrace, Galashiels TD1 3EG.

Do I need to have prior singing experience to join?

No prior singing experience is required to join our choir. We welcome singers of all levels.

How many performances do you present each year?

We normally present two main concerts each year - one before Christmas and another in late Spring.

In addition, this year we will be joining forces with the Abbey Consort to perform Handel's Messiah in February 2026 in aid of the Doddie Weir Foundation.
